Applicants must be offered a place on a course before applying for a Bulgarian student visa. The visa application must be submitted within two months before traveling to Bulgaria so that there is enough time for the visa to be processed. We keep in contact with the universities, as well as with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria. Therefore, we will fully assist you in obtaining a student visa. This way, the application process becomes a smooth and enjoyable part of your plans to study and live abroad.

The exact required documentation varies depending on the consulate, the individual's circumstances and the course the applicant wishes to take. After your documents have been submitted to the university and the university has approved them, the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science must issue a certificate that you are eligible to study in Bulgaria. Once you receive the certificate and letter of acceptance, you must apply for a type D student visa at the Bulgarian consulate in your country of residence.

The BULGARIA student visa allows students to work part-time or in a temporary position for the duration of the course. The job must not interfere with the candidate's studies.
