Student life in Bulgaria

Located in Southeastern Europe, Bulgaria borders Romania to the north, Greece to the south, Turkey to the southeast, Serbia and North Macedonia to the west, and the Black Sea to the east. With all this just around the corner, it is not surprising that some international students want to study. It is an attractive destination for young people who come to acquire knowledge in different specialties offered by higher schools in this country.

Most international students are usually located in Sofia or Varna, the two main cities. Both are vibrant places with great student scenes. Cafes, museums and night clubs abound in both. On sunny days, you can even head to one of the many parks to study. Your Bulgarian visa also means you can travel to neighboring Romania for longer trips.
